COLUMBUS, Ohio -- City residents who lost yard-waste pick up due to budget troubles will get it back.
You'll have to pay for it, though.
City council approved a one-year contract with Rumpke.
Rumpke will offer city residents weekly yard-waste service on a subscription basis.
Residents will pay $49.50 for six months of service.
Payment will be due and service will be completed in six-month cycles.
The first cycle begins Monday, April 20, and the second cycle was set start Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Residents can sign up immediately for the first cycle.
The cost will remain the same regardless of when a resident signs up for service.
Residents are allowed to put out as many as 15 bags, bundles or containers for weekly pick up.

Yard waste typically consists of organic waste such as grass clippings, leaves, twigs, branches, shrubbery and other garden residues generated during regular household gardening and landscaping activities.
Loose materials should be placed in biodegradable (paper) bags or in rigid containers marked as yard waste
Bags are generally available for purchase at home-improvement or grocery retail stores.
Branches should be cut to 4-foot lengths and tied with twine or string into bundles that are no more than 2 feet wide.
Each bag, bundle or container must weigh less than 50 pounds.
