EATON, Ohio -- The Ohio Highway Patrol says two women from Las Vegas have been indicted on felony charges in a major bust of the hallucinogenic drug PCP.
Monday's indictment returned in western Ohio's Preble County charges 22-year-old Lisandra Pearson and 24-year-old Dianira Garcia with aggravated possession of liquid PCP. Convictions could bring up to 10-year prison terms and $20,000 fines.
Troopers making a traffic stop on Interstate 70 said they found 10 gallons of the drug, valued at $3 million, in the vehicle Pearson was driving.
Preble County Prosecutor Martin Votel says after the women were stopped on March 12, officers released them pending further investigation. Arraignments are scheduled for Friday.
Votel says Pearson and Garcia do not have attorneys.
