DELAWARE, Ohio -- A former firefighter was arrested after an official said he went on a countywide crime spree.

A former Orange Township firefighter was indicted this week after he went on more than a weeklong crime spree throughout Delaware County, said Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney
Dave Yost.
Kim Ash, 41, was indicted on a total of 13 counts, including theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, robbery, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and abduction.
Here is a rundown of the charges and alleged offenses, according to Yost's office:
Ash was charged with stealing around $800 from an acquaintance Thursday, Feb. 19.
He was charged with robbing a Lewis Center Subway Sunday, March 22.
He was charged with robbing a Westerville pet store Monday, March 23.
The same acquaintance from the Thursday, Feb. 19, incident allowed Ash to use her vehicle for a few hours to collect money to pay her back Wednesday, March 25. He allegedly didn't return the car until the next day. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Ash was charged with robbing a Lewis Center hair salon Thursday, March 26.
Ash allegedly forced his way into a North Union Street apartment in Delaware Sunday, March 29. He allegedly kidnapped a female at knifepoint and forced her to drive him to Columbus where he used her credit card. The victim was released and was not harmed during the offense.
Ash attempted to allegedly commit several crimes on Monday, March 30.
Ash approached a female in the Walmart parking lot off Columbus Pike in Delaware. He allegedly threatened her at knifepoint in an attempt to kidnap her and steal her car.
When that alleged attempt failed, he went into a neighborhood off Hull Drive and allegedly entered a home. Ash held the homeowner at knifepoint and ordered him to walk outside to his vehicle, according to a report. The homeowner escaped.
Then Ash allegedly attempted to rob a man who was sitting in his vehicle, but the doors were locked.
Ash allegedly brandished a knife when confronted by Delaware police officers.
Officers used a Taser device on Ash after he refused to surrender his knife, according to a report.
He was taken into custody Monday, March 30.
Ash's arraignment hearing hasn't been scheduled.
If convicted, Ash faces as many as 84 years in prison.
