6 Years Later: Ohio State Fatal Fire Still Cold

»  Comments | Post a Comment

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The murder of five Ohio college students has run cold.

Dozens of college students gathered for a party near The Ohio State University's main campus on April 12, 2003 -- when flames broke out.

In the pre-dawn hours of April 13, 2003, several students were sleeping in a home on East 17th Avenue when someone set fire to the house.

Six years later, Columbus homicide detectives are no closer to finding a suspect.

The deaths of the students are now considered a cold case -- because the tips have all but stopped and the evidence is not enough to point to the culprit.

Investigators still believe that someone, somewhere, saw something that night that could help solve the case. All they need to do is call.

Tips can be made anonymously through the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers tip line at 614-645-TIPS.
