COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police continue to investigate a Sunday evening shooting that occurred at an Easter family gathering.

A 24-year-old woman was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition after a shooting on the city's East Side.
The incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Geers Avenue.
Columbus police said Russell Roberts, 54, was in an argument with his stepson, Jonathan Hairson, during a family gathering being held at the Roberts’ home for Easter.
The argument moved into the home where Roberts reportedly grabbed a handgun and began ordering guests out of the house, according to CPD.
Allegedly, Lesha Hairston confronted Roberts about waving the gun with children in the house.
A physical altercation ensued, and Lesha Hairston was shot.
She was rushed to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Officials said they believe she will survive the injury.
Roberts was charged with felonious assault.
