COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Detectives are on the scene of a shooting on Kelton Avenue that left a 25-year-old fighting for his life.
The Columbus Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the 900 block of Kelton Avenue just after 8 p.m. Friday on a report of a shooting. At the scene, a 25-year-old male victim was found sitting in a yellow Monte Carlo with a gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators said the victim was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect approached, shot him and fled the scene.
CFD Medic 14 transported the victim to Grant Hospital in critical, life-threatening condition.
