COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Ford Ranger was carjacked on the city's West Side Monday morning, according to CPD.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
A black male with a shotgun carjacked the driver of a 1999 gold Ford Ranger around 11 a.m. Monday, police said.
The vehicle was carjacked at 1257 West Broad Street, police said.
Additional passengers could be in the vehicle, reports indicated.
The Ohio license plate on the carjacked pickup was EHT5225.
The carjacking was initially thought to be connected to a Monday shooting on Steele Avenue, but CPD Sgt. Rich Weiner said it was unlikely the two were connected.
