COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police continued to investigate an alleged early morning home invasion and robbery Monday.

A man was asleep in his front room when two or possibly three suspects entered his Westgrove Drive home through an unlocked screen door and bound him with duct tape, CPD said.
The Southwest Side victim, 50-year-old James Cooper, said the suspects took various items from his home, including a flat-screen TV, and fled the scene in his red Mercury hatchback.
Cooper freed himself from the duct tape and fled unharmed to a neighbor's house to call police.
The suspects were described as black males who are between the ages of 18 and 25.
One suspect was between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds.
The second suspect was around 6 feet tall with a heavier build.
There was no information on the potential third suspect.
The victim’s vehicle has a license number of CQL7633.
