WHITEHALL, Ohio -- A pedigree puppy was found safe after an alleged pet-store theft.

NBC 4 reported on an alleged puppy theft earlier this week in the Crime Stoppers' Crime of the Week.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers asked for tips after authorities said a man and woman walked out of the East Broad Street Petland Saturday, March 21, with the pup.

Crime Stoppers said an anonymous tipster called the Petland store and told the manager where the 12-week-old puppy could be found.
The Fawn pug puppy was recovered safely.
No charges have been filed currently.
Crime Stoppers offered as much as a $2,000 reward for tips into the pup's location. No word on whether a reward was given to the tipster.
