MADISON COUNTY, Ohio -- A portion of Interstate 70 was closed Wednesday morning after a multiple-vehicle crash.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Eastbound lanes near mile marker 80 or U.S. Route 42 were closed before 6:30 a.m.
The lanes reopened to traffic shortly before 7 a.m.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes experienced heavy traffic.
State Patrol said there were multiple vehicles and multiple commercial vehicles involved in the crash.
At least two people were transported to area hospitals by 6:45 a.m.
Traffic reporter Monica Day suggested using U.S. Route 42 southbound to U.S. Route 40 eastbound to state Route 142 northbound to get around the crash.
