»  Comments | Post a Comment

WASHINGTON COURTHOUSE, Ohio – It has been nearly three years since tragedy hit the Branham family. In a small town south of Columbus, a fire that was ruled arson claimed the life of 8-year old Mackenzie Branham. On Saturday night, Mackenzie’s friends and family gathered together to remember her and keep her story alive in hopes that justice will prevail.

On April 27, 2006, 8-year old Mackenzie Branham passed away in a Washington Courthouse house fire which was ruled arson by investigators. As of today, no arrests have been made, which means no closure for the family. It was a difficult time for all of the family and friends that gathered around Mackenzie’s grave site. The family hopes that there will be a break in the case soon.

If anyone has information about the case, contact the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office at 740-335-6170.
