GROVE CITY, Ohio -- Grove City police warned residents about a suspicious man who allegedly importuned two girls.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
GCPD said the man has been driving past the school-bus stop at the corner of Haley and Natalie drives in the Hoover Park subdivision.
A recent incident happened at 4 p.m. Monday, April 20, but he reportedly has been seen in the area about three times during the past couple of weeks, police said.
The suspicious male allegedly drove up next to two juvenile females after the bus dropped them off and yelled, “Hey. You girls need a ride? You look lost.”
The girls walked away quickly, and the man immediately left the area.
The male was described as a heavy, older, white male who is possibly in his 60s. He has gray hair and a short beard.
He was driving an older-model, large maroon or burgundy four-door vehicle.
The girls said the male mostly stopped at the bus stop on Thursday afternoons. They said his alleged Monday stop was a first.
Those acts alone are not illegal, and no enforcement action should be taken on anyone matching the description.
Anyone with information on the male or the vehicle was asked to call Grove City police at 614-277-1710.
