COVINGTON, Ky.
The Kentucky-based ministry behind the Creation Museum has reached a settlement with an Australian creationist group over copyrights, subscription lists and spreading the creationist message.
The dispute was between Creation Ministries International in Australia and Answers in Genesis in Kentucky, just southwest of Cincinnati. Both groups preach a literal interpretation of the Bible's creation story.
The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati sent the two groups into arbitration in February.
In a joint statement, the groups say their dispute has been settled to their mutual satisfaction. The Kentucky Enquirer reports that terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
The dispute revolved around personal and professional disagreements between the founders of the two groups.
