COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man was shot in the back on the city's near East Side overnight.
A male victim was shot in the back while standing at the front door of 441 Stoddart Ave. at about 2:28 a.m. Thursday, CPD said.
The victim and witnesses at scene were unable to identify anyone and gave no motive for the shooting.
Evidence at the scene indicated there might have been a physical altercation involving an unknown woman, CPD said.
The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
