Bar Owner Allegedly Takes Girl's Skateboard At Gunpoint

»  Comments | Post a Comment

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- A Cincinnati sports bar owner faces an aggravated robbery charge because police say he took an 11-year-old girl's skateboard at gunpoint.

Police say 50-year-old Jack Connerton was angry over children cutting through his parking lot on skateboards.

He was arrested on the felony count Saturday after police say he pointed a gun, took the girl's skateboard, and snapped photos of four children.

The girl's mother, Misty Bragg, says neighborhood children have to pass by Connerton's Towerview Sports Pub to get to a recreation center and park.

She says they stay on the sidewalk and are respectful.

Bragg says police seized Connerton's camera and got her daughter's skateboard back.

Phone calls to Connerton weren't answered Tuesday.
