Pipe Bomb In Backpack Clears Ohio City Offices

SPRINGBORO, Ohio -- Police in a southwest Ohio say a city office building will be closed all day after police found a pipe bomb in a teen's backpack.

Police in Springboro brought two 16-year-old boys into the police station for questioning early Wednesday morning and found the device.

They quickly took the pipe bomb outside and called the bomb squad.

The discovery forced the evacuation of Springboro city offices and the cancellation of the Springboro Mayor's Court.

Springboro is a suburb south of Dayton.
