COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A local company is feeding into the need for a good deal and turning into a win-win situation.
Certified Oil has a new look and a new program saving people money.
"There's no better time for savvy consumers to save money. They've given us great feedback on the program. They love getting the free items they're getting," said Greg Ehrlich, COO of Certified Oil.
The Certified Savings Program also saves you money every time you fill up.
For Tyler Derenberger, it makes a difference.
"5 cents is 5 cents and when you buy gas like me, 5 cents adds up," he said.
The company has 23 locations around Central Ohio.
Its stance: you don't have to keep buying products, unlike some rewards programs, to save.
If you buy gas there, you'll always save the next time you fill up.
If you buy other things, you'll save too and get bonus points.
Through some tracking tools, the company will also offer more special deals.
Customers will receive texts or emails for extra savings from Certified.
"If we can give them better value by being more frequent, loyal customers to us, we want to give them the best deals and technology allows them to do that," Ehrlich said.
