COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A Columbus police helicopter had to make an emergency landing overnight Friday.

Apparently, the chopper was in the middle of pursuing a stolen car when something went wrong.
The pilot had to make an emergency landing in a cornfield near Alkire Road on the city's Southwest Side.
That was around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
No word yet on the problem.
No one was injured during the incident.
