COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A man who was in a motorized wheelchair was struck and injured while trying to cross the street late Thursday.

CPD said the man was struck while trying to cross at Refugee Road at Hamilton Road on the city’s Southeast Side.
The incident happened shortly after 11 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the man apparently was a pizza delivery driver.
The victim was 50 to 60 years old and was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition with two broken legs and a skull fracture.
The accident remained under investigation.
No more immediate information was available, including any possible charges.
