COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A 20-year-old Columbus man became the city's 52nd homicide victim of 2009 after being shot outside an southeast-side store.
Police are looking for the person or persons who were involved in the death of Dominque L. Searcy.
Searcy was found on the sidewalk in front of a store at 1086 Studer Avenue at about 12:30 p.m.
The store owner told NBC 4 that Searcy had been in the store and just stepped outside when he heard a series of gunshots.
Searcy sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2 p.m.
