NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio -- SWAT arrested a male and a female after being called out to a Perry County home to serve a warrant for a parole violation.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Authorities surrounded 418 W. Lincoln St. at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to serve a warrant on 39-year-old Robert Shipley, according to Sgt. Kevin Starrett with Perry County sheriff's office.

Shipley was wanted on a parole violation on an original charge of felonious assault.

Fairfield County SWAT was called to the scene because there were concerns about Shipley being armed.
