CROOKSVILLE, Ohio -- Three people were hospitalized Monday evening after being struck by lightning.
According to the Fire Chief at Crooksville Fire Department, three people were struck by lightning while standing under a tree on Sand Street in Crooksville at about 9 p.m.
The victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville with what were described as significant injuries.
Officials said the victims were two adults and one juvenile.
