COLUMBUS, Ohio -- During the summer recess, members of Congress have traveled to their districts to hold town hall meetings to hear from their constituents on health-care reform.
Nationally, town hall meetings have had passionate questions from the public against health-care reform.
Wednesday evening, Mary Jo Kilroy will hold a phone conference and answer questions about the health-care reform bill.
Kilroy staff members tell NBC 4 the reason this town hall meeting will be over the phone, instead of face-to-face, is for a wider reach.
The Kilroy camp claims only 50 to 60 people show up at the meetings.
A teleconference, according to staff members, can bring in more than a thousand people.
If you want to participate in this teleconference you will have to register.
You can register by going to http://www.kilroy.house.gov AND click on the phone pad.
The tele-town hall starts at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.
That's when you will get a phone call from Kilroy's staff to participate.
