LANCASTER, Ohio -- Lancaster police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed a gas station early Saturday.
According to the police report, a man entered the BP/Duke and Duchess on Sixth Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. and asked for cartons of cigarettes.
When the clerk turned back to the man after getting the cartons, police said, the man was holding up his shirt, displaying what appeared to be the handle of a gun stuck into his waistband.
The man was wearing faded jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt and fled the building, walking west. Officers were unable to locate the man.
