CINCINNATI -- The husband of a missing suburban Cincinnati woman has been indicted on a charge of tampering with evidence.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said Monday his office is awaiting results of laboratory tests and expects more indictments against John Strutz.
Authorities say the 30-year-old welder concealed human remains. They haven't said what they think happened to Kristan Strutz, age 28.
Strutz is being held on $1 million bond set Aug. 17. Police had arrested him on charges of evidence-tampering and obstructing official business.
Struz's attorney has said he reported his wife missing and cooperated with police until he realized he was under suspicion.
If convicted on the felony tampering count, Strutz could face up to five years in prison.
