COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are investigating a shooting on the city's north side Monday evening.
The incident occurred in the area of 3044 Oakland Park Avenue shortly before 8 p.m.
According to police, Jamual Burks, 18, was involved in an argument with a group of unknown black males in the area.
A short time later, 38-year-old Richard Kendrick was leaving the area in a vehicle with Sherry Jones, 38, and Burks.
Police said shots were fired at the vehicle. The vehicle was struck at least three times and Burks was struck once in the arm. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
