OSP Plans Checkpoint Saturday Night

LICKING COUNTY, OhioThe Granville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol plans a low-man, multi-agency OVI checkpoint tonight in Licking County. The checkpoint will be in operation from 10 p.m. on Saturday until 2 a.m. Sunday morning. The location will be on State Route 13 in Licking County, south of Interstate 70, one mile north of the Perry County line. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office will be assisting OSP with the operation. The sobriety checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
