Officials: Man's Death, Vehicle Fire Remain Under Investigation

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ohio -- State fire officials continue to investigate a vehicle fire and man’s death in Fayette County last weekend.

Sheriff’s deputies found the body of 33-year-old Gary Frump behind 8192 Main Street in Milledgeville -- northwest of Washington Court House.

Officials with the state fire marshal’s office said the cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.

Investigators said they are waiting on the coroner’s report to confirm the identity of the victim and the manner of death.

Evidence was delivered to the fire marshal’s forensic laboratory in Reynoldsburg on Monday. Results from those tests will be made available to investigators in 10 to 12 days.
