COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A reward is being offered in connection with a homicide on the city’s northeast side in August.
According to police, on Aug. 23, at about 10:13 a.m., 30-year-old Carlos De La Cruz was seen sitting in his purple pick-up truck parked behind 1607 Myrtle Avenue.
When concerned citizens checked on him, De La Cruz was found dead from stab wounds to the upper body.
De La Cruz was last seen at about 1:30 a.m. that morning.
Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,000 for any information received by Dec. 16, 2009, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
