COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police said a motorist refused to pull over before leading officers on a short pursuit and crashing into trees and a cruiser.

Minerva Park police were conducting a routine traffic stop in the area of Northland Plaza on Dublin-Granville Road around 2 a.m. Tuesday. That's on the city's North Side.
The male suspect refused to stop his vehicle and led police on a brief pursuit, police said.
The suspect drove east on dead-end Wildwood Road and crashed his vehicle into trees.
The vehicle rolled back from the trees and crashed into a police cruiser.
The suspect was taken into police custody.
No one was injured in the incident.
Officers said the suspect didn't have a current driver’s license and drugs were found in the vehicle.
