COLUMBUS, Oh -- Police said a man robbed a local dollar store at gunpoint Wednesday.

The Family Dollar at 1600 Lockbourne Rd. was robbed at 12:33 p.m., according to police reports.
An unknown male entered the store with a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, police said.
The man was described as a black male around 6 feet tall, aged 50 to 55.
He was reported as having a thin build, dark complexion, unshaven face with dark circles under his eyes.
He was wearing a dark-green flannel coat with tan pants and white tennis shoes.
