FBI Guard Gets Probation For Dressing-Room Spying

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

FAIRMONT, W.Va.
An FBI security officer who videotaped teenage girls as they undressed and tried on prom gowns at a charity event has been convicted of invasion of privacy.

Thirty-five-year-old Charles Brian Hommema of Buckhannon was sentenced Wednesday to six months in jail, but Marion County Magistrate Hank Middlemas suspended that and imposed a year of probation.

He acquitted Hommema of conspiracy.

Fellow officer Gary Sutton Jr. of New Milton was previously sentenced to six months probation for conspiracy.

A surveillance camera outside the FBI's Middletown Mall office was aimed at temporary changing rooms and zoomed in on girls in the Cinderella Project fashion show.

The project offered dresses, shoes and accessories to girls who could not otherwise afford them.
