POWELL, Ohio -- A train crashed into a vehicle that was stuck on railroad tracks Thursday night.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
A driver was attempting to turn a vehicle around on Liberty Road south of Powell when it became stuck on railroad tracks.
That happened shortly before 8 a.m.
The people in the vehicle got out of the vehicle before the CSX freight train crashed into it, police said.
Neighbors told NBC 4 the sound of the impact led them to think there had been a nearby explosion.
Traffic in the area of Jewett Road and Liberty Road was congested for a couple of hours during crash investigation.
