COLUMBUS, Ohio – Four persons from two vehicles were seriously injured Sunday when their vehicles crashed at the intersection of Westerville and Innis Roads. The intersection remained closed for two hours while the Franklin County Sheriff's Office investigated.
What they know now is that a car driven by Alyson Hanson, 31, of Columbus tried to make a left turn from Innis onto Westerville. Her car was struck by a car southbound on Westerville driven by Willie Thomas, 40 of Columbus. Officers are not sure who had the right of way at the intersection, which has a traffic light.
Hanson and her two passengers were transported to local hospitals. So was a passenger in the Thomas vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
