GLOUSTER, Ohio -- Officials arrested a 19-year-old woman in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store.
According to the Athens County Sheriff's Office, the robbery occurred at the Happy Cat Junction Convenience Store on Sunday.
Investigators said a woman entered the store, told the employee she had a gun and to do what she instructed and no one would be hurt.
The employee gave the robbery money from the cash register and the suspect fled on foot.
Detectives later identified the suspect as 19-year-old Barbara Christian.
Deputies and officers with the Glouster Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment on Elizabeth Street in Nelsonville.
Investigators said evidence of the robbery was collected from the apartment.
Christian was arrested at the apartment and charged with armed robbery.
