NEWARK, Ohio -- Officials are offering a reward for information in connection with an apartment burglary in Newark’s west end.
According to Newark police, sometime between Nov. 20 and Nov. 24, someone broke into an apartment in the 1600 block of Lakeview Drive and stole thousands of dollars worth of items.
The stolen items include: a 47-inch LCD HDTV plasma TV, a Nikon digital camera, a Sony Handy Cam Camcorder, a Dell Inspiron computer, a 32 inch Emerson LCD HDTV, a Serta king size bed, cash, tennis shoes, clothes, and other personal items.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 888-488-9058. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
Information leading to the arrest and indictment of a felony suspect could qualify the caller for a reward of up to $1,000 as determined by the Crime Stoppers’ Board.
