COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are investigating a home invasion and shooting that left one person injured.
According to police, the shooting occurred when two people forcibly entered a home on Hadley Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Residents of the home told police that one of the people who entered the home was armed.
Specific details on the shooting were unavailable, but one of the suspects was shot by a resident. It was unclear if the suspect was shot with his own weapon or if the residents were also armed.
The second suspect fled the scene and the gunshot victim was taken to Mount Carmel Hospital West in critical condition.
