HILLIARD, Ohio -- A Hilliard man was killed in what appeared to be an accidental shooting overnight Tuesday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Franklin County sheriff's deputies were called to Amity Road at about 2:08 a.m. on an accidental shooting.
Three men and a woman were shooting firearms on farming property when one of the men was shot, according to Chief Steve Martin with FCSO.
The property is owned by a family member of one of those involved.
Preliminary investigation indicated Michael Lutz, 22, appeared to have accidentally shot himself once in the head, according to an official release.
It also appeared that alcohol might have been a factor in Lutz' death.
Martin said those involved all were young adults.
There were a couple of shot guns and a couple of pistols at the scene, Martin said.
Deputies interviewed those involved and continued to investigate.
No charges were expected currently.
