COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police released the names of two suspects and two CPD SWAT officers after a police-involved shooting Sunday night.

The incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. at the McDonald's at 381 E. Main St. on the city's near East Side.
SWAT officers were conducting surveillance on the restaurant after receiving a tip on a possible robbery.
Two armed suspects entered the restaurant around 9:45 p.m. and robbed the McDonald's while SWAT was outside the location, according to CPD.
While exiting the building, the male and female were confronted by SWAT.
CPD later identified the suspects as Charles Alexander Alexander Ill, 23, and Estavon Tysha Anderson, 22.
Anderson was taken into police custody and was charged with aggravated robbery.
SWAT officers shot Alexander. He was transported to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.
He remained hospitalized Tuesday and was listed in critical stable condition.
The SWAT officers involved in the shooting were identified as Officer Harry Vanfossan, a 30-year veteran of the Columbus Division of Police, and Officer Charles Distelhorst, a 19-year veteran of the Division.
No customers were inside the McDonald's at the time of the robbery, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the officer-involved shooting began late Sunday, and detectives interviewed several witnesses as well as the involved SWAT officers.
Charges still are pending, according to a release Tuesday.
