COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police said two armed suspects robbed a North Side pharmacy Wednesday afternoon.

Employees said two men entered Oakland Park Pharmacy at 1486 Oakland Park at about 1:38 p.m.
Columbus police were called to Oakland Park Pharmacy at 1486 Oakland Park on an armed robbery shortly after 1:40 p.m.
Employees told NBC 4's Marcus Thorpe they knew something was going on when one entered wearing sunglasses and another one had his hood up.
One suspect brandished a firearm and ordered the two employees to the floor. The second suspect demanded cash, Oxycontin and Percocet pharmaceuticals, according to CPD.
The employees complied with the demand, and the suspects fled westbound on Oakland Park in a white, four-door vehicle, police said.
The family owned pharmacy is located in a strip mall and has been the target of criminals four times in seven years.
"Last year there were two guys and two guns. And this year, they just seemed a little more nervous than last year. I don't know. I just want to get them out of there as fast as possible. You try not to think about it," a female employee told Thorpe.
A business owner from another store in the strip mall told NBC 4 he saw the suspects take the license plate off the vehicle they were driving.
He said he followed the two suspects into the pharmacy. He said left the store after the suspects didn't display suspicious behavior.
Apparently, the suspects waited for the man to leave the pharmacy before making their demands.
Columbus police continued to investigate.
