HAMILTON, Ohio- Neighbors pulled a 65-year-old man from a pond after the man fell through ice trying to save his dog.
Authorities say David Craig was barely responsive and suffering from hypothermia by the time he was taken to the hospital.
Dan Jackson and his 81-year-old father, George, pulled Craig from the pond in Reily Township in southwest Ohio yesterday.
Craig fell in the pond trying to rescue his St. Bernard, Sam, who also fell through the ice.
Craig's temperature had fallen dangerously low but he was recovering last night.
The dog was also rescued and doing fine.
