CENTRAL OHIO -- NBC 4 reported on a warning for dog owners.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS Friday.

Veterinarians recommended another vaccination for your dog because an old disease has made a comeback.

The disease is called Lepto, and it is a bacteria that can be passed on from a wild animal, such as a raccoon or possum, to your dog through a cut or open wound.

If left untreated, dogs can develop fatal kidney failure.
