»  Comments | Post a Comment

WASHINGTON--

It's a done deal. The Senate has approved
a compromise $787 billion stimulus plan favored by the White House.
The vote was held open for hours so that Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown
could cast the deciding vote. He had been attending a memorial for
his mother. The House passed the measure earlier. His vote was the sixtieth.
