COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Valentine’s Day is the second most popular day of the year to dine out. More than one-third of Americans will take their sweetie out for a special dinner tonight. For those spur-of-the-moment types, Franklin County Municipal Court Judge David Tyack has volunteered to perform up to 35 weddings today from 9a.m. until 4 p.m. The couples will file their license, get the paperwork from the clerk and get married in a civil ceremony right in courtroom 14-C.
A great way to spend your Valentine's Day with the family will be at Skate 71. Today you can get in for only 99 cents if you wear red or pink between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for the Valentines Day Sweetheart Skate. The family-friendly event is a great way to celebrate with the kids and you will also have a chance to win some prizes. The Sports Vacation and Boat Show is also happening this weekend at the State Fairgrounds. There are more than 500 exhibits to check out.
