LICKING COUNTY, Ohio -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred around 5:55p.m. on Swick-Holton Road (Township Road 236) in Licking County Tuesday. The accident happened near Stradley Road (Township Road 235).
Officials say a Chevy Suburban, driven by Jeremy P. Wiley of Newark, traveled off the left side of the road. The vehicle struck a fence and a utility pole and caught fire.
Mr. Wiley was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Licking County Coroner.
Mr. Wiley’s two passengers, 5 year old Courtlynn Wiley and 3 year old Autumn Wiley, were injured in the crash and transported by MaryAnn Township medics to Licking Memorial Hospital.
