COLUMBUS, Ohio -- From city departments to local businesses, thousands of Ohioans have applied to get a piece of the $8.2 billion stimulus package Ohio will receive.
So far, 9,200 applications have been received by the state -- but what do some Central Ohioans want to do with the federal assistance?
NBC 4 built a database where you can search the stimulus money requests. There are more than 400 requests.

Among them, is Lee Price's request for federal stimulus money to keep disenfranchised children from roaming the streets.
"I remember (Glenwood Recreation Center) is a place where me and my buddies would come play basketball, you know, it would keep us off the streets," Price said.
The center is one of the 12 that were closed due to the budget crunch in the city of Columbus.
Price felt called to action and applied for $1 million to reopen the closed recreation centers.
"I'm just not happy with the way it's being divided up. It seems like all the big guys are getting it," Price said.
While he is waiting to hear from officials about his request, even well-off counties like Franklin County are asking for help.
Commissioner Paula Brooks has requested money for 41 projects, including the construction of a new animal shelter.
"Pet supplies and everything related to it is a multi-billion-dollar industry in our country," Brooks said.
Price and Brooks have two very different requests, representing hope for business and for children.
"I think it's great that an everyday average Joe like me has a voice and someone is actually looking at it," Price said.
