LEBANON, Ohio
Authorities say a woman in southwest Ohio is accused of participating in illegal assisted suicides in other states, including Georgia, where four people have been arrested and charged with assisted suicide.
Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel said Thursday there is no evidence to suggest any crime was committed in Ohio.
Authorities in the county searched the woman's home for Georgia authorities, who are investigating the Final Exit Network in the death of a man last June at his home near Atlanta.
Court documents filed by investigators say a Final Exit Network interview form shows the Ohio woman spoke with an undercover officer posing as a man wanting to commit suicide and suggested that the group assist him.
During a Wednesday search, pamphlets, videos, documents and computer equipment relating to the Final Exit Network were removed from the woman's condominium.
