COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Division of Police Homicide Squad were called to a home on the Northeast side of Columbus early this morning.
Early this morning around 3 a.m., The Columbus Division of Police were called to 2475 Dawnlight Avenue on a reported shooting. Upon arrival, police found 26-year old Kiana Davis inside the house with a gunshot wound to the head. A short-time later, homicide detectives were called and arrested 47-year old Cindy Crump. The investigation revealed Davis and Crump were involved in a dispute which lead to the shooting death of Davis.
This is the first homicide of 2009.
