Power Restored After Driver Crashes Into Pole

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Power was restored Sunday morning after a driver crashed into a power pole.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. at Henderson Road when the driver hit the poll and knocked down wires, NBC 4 reported.

Traffic lights were out from Dierker Road to Bethel Road and 1,600 people lost power.

American Electric Power crews were called to the scene and were able to restore power.
