COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A medic and Columbus police were dispatched to a local middle school Tuesday morning on a report of an assault.

Authorities were called to Southmoor Middle School, part of Columbus City Schools, at 1201 Moler Rd.
District spokesperson Jeff Warner said there was a fight on a bus.
One student may have broken fingers and was transported to an area hospital.
Another student was arrested at the school.
